What is Re-Celloop™?

Re-Celloop™ is a regenerated cellulosic material and high-purity alternative to wood or oil-based materials. Using zero-cost, clean feedstock and an low energy process , it delivers  up to 50% lower cost and an 85% smaller carbon footprint than conventional nanocellulose.

Through its proprietary process, Re-Celloop™ transforms cotton-rich textile waste into a consistent, high-performance cellulose stream for coatings, packaging, cosmetics, and composites, enabling true circularity without compromising performance or reliability.

Why Never-Dried Matters

The never-dried form of an Advanced Cellulosic Material preserves its naturally hydrated structure, allowing it to interact more effectively with water compared to conventional dried cellulose powders. This results in higher water-holding capacity, easier dispersion, and stronger performance in aqueous systems.

When cellulose is dried, it undergoes irreversible structural changes known as hornification. During this process, internal pores partially collapse, reducing the material’s ability to swell, rehydrate, and interact with water. As a result, dried cellulosic materials often show limited redispersibility, lower viscosity development, and less reliable performance in formulations.

By remaining in a never-dried state, Re-Celloop™ maintains its open, hydrated structure. This enables more uniform dispersion, higher body at equivalent solids content, and more consistent rheological performance in water-based formulations.
